The Pro Zell Ski School is an established ski school in the Zillertal Arena with over 30 years’ experience. It offers ski and snowboard lessons for all ages and ability levels. Visit our website

The Pro Zell Ski School is located on the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller in the Zillertal.
You will find the office at Rohr 18a near the Rosenalmbahn.

During the high season, around 60 ski instructors work at the ski school; most of the instructors are of Dutch origin and have been coming here for many years.

Vouchers can be redeemed in person or by email. Vouchers cannot be redeemed online. Please send us an email with the voucher number to info@pro-zell.at

If a date isn’t available to select online, it’s very likely already fully booked.

Discounted taster courses are offered specifically for toddlers aged 3–5 who are having their first experiences on the slopes Book now 
At the end of the taster day, you can decide whether your child would like to continue on the regular course.

Participation in the ski race is open to all course participants who have attended a group course during the same week, and the event concludes with a grand prize-giving ceremony.
The Bambini race is on Fridays, and the children’s course race is on Thursdays.
Occasionally, if there are fewer participants in the groups, the final race may take place on one of these days as a combined event.

Yes, for children aged 6 and over attending a 4-hour course, we also offer lunchtime supervision.
We have a children’s room at the Simon Skistadl on the Rosenalm where the little ones can have a meal and 
a drink. Book here now

All our ski instructors speak German and English. Many of our ski instructors are Dutch.

The standard group size is 
For Bambini: 2–5 children 
In children’s groups: 2–10 children
In adult groups: 4–10 people 
For snowboard groups: 4–8 people 

The maximum group size during the high season is 
For Bambini: 6 children 
In children’s groups: 12 children 
In adult groups: 12 people 
For snowboard groups: 10 people 

The maximum permitted group size is only reached at our ski school in exceptional circumstances.
For example, if ski instructors are absent due to illness. 
If the group size falls below the minimum, the ski school reserves the right to merge groups, shorten lesson times or rescheduling private lessons.

Groups are allocated on the first day based on skiing ability or by stating that you are a beginner. To ensure you are allocated to the correct group, please meet at the meeting point at 9.30 am on the first day.

The meeting point for all courses is at the Rosenalm at our assembly point.

Courses cancelled due to weather conditions (force majeure) or other circumstances cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Yes, everyone needs a valid ski pass to use the facilities.

No, tickets for the Zeller Bergbahn lifts are not included and must be purchased separately. 
Online tickets are available here.
Children also need a return ticket or a ski pass to get to the meeting point.

Upon presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor, we will refund the difference between the course fee and the hire fee.
Other reasons that cannot be medically verified: no refund

Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations are no longer possible! Cancellation up to 30 days before the course starts is free of charge. After that, a processing fee of 20% of the course fee will be charged. See also our Terms and Conditions

No, there is no refund if you don’t like the course or decide not to continue; therefore, we recommend booking just one day if you are unsure.

Joining groups that are already underway during the week is only possible if there are free places available in a group that meets the standard.
Beginners can only start on Sundays or Mondays.

No, it is not possible to join a course at the end of the week.Thursday is the final race for the children’s courses and Friday for the Bambinis.
Courses only take place from Sunday to Friday.
No group courses are available on Saturdays. Private lessons only.

We offer group lessons for children from the age of 3.
From the age of 15, you can book adult lessons.
Bambini courses: 3–5 years
Children’s courses: 6–14 years
Snowboard courses: from 8 years
Adult courses: from 15 years

If all participants have a similar level of ability, we’ll be happy to try and place you in the same group.
Please let us know your preference when you’re being allocated to a group on the mountain.

Ski lessons can be extended at any time on site (directly at the Rosenalm meeting point)provided the minimum group size of 4 people is reached.
You will only be charged the difference.

As we only offer snowboard courses for teenagers and adults due to low demand,the minimum age is 10 years.
Children under 10 can learn to snowboard or improve their skills through private lessons.

There is currently no legal requirement to wear a helmet in Tyrol. However, we strongly recommend 
that you always wear a helmet for your own protection.
Children without a ski helmet will be excluded from group lessons as responsibility duringthe lesson lies with our staff.

Ski equipment booked with us can only be collected from the ski hire shop at Zellbergeben 38 and must also be returned there.
The equipment is ready for collection from 2 pm the day before and can be returned by 10 am on the day following the last day of skiing at the latest, at no extra cost.

Hire equipment can be extended! Please call 0043 5282 71042 to enquire about availability. The cost will then be automatically charged when you return the equipment.

We do not have any storage facilities. You can book storage with Zeller Bergbahn!

The ski hire shop is not located directly at the mountain railway but near the centre of Zell am Ziller.
The best way to reach us is by car – there is plenty of parking in front of the building.
There is also a ski bus stop 50 metres from the ski hire shopIt is about a 10-minute walk from Zell am Ziller railway station.

We offer a ‘Peace of Mind Package’ that protects you from additional costs in the event of damage to the equipment.
For just €3.50 per day per person, damage is covered.
Serious damage that is suspected to have been caused deliberately will be charged.
The equipment is not insured against theft or loss.

Cancellations can be made before the start of the hire period. The following conditions apply, unless otherwise agreed:
• Up to 30 days before the start of the hire period: free cancellation
• Up to 14 days before the start of the hire period: 20% of the hire price
• For later cancellations or failure to collect: 100% of the hire price

Amounts already paid will be refunded in accordance with the terms and conditions.In the event of early return due to illness or injury, you will be refunded the difference in the hire fee upon presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor.

If you are not satisfied with your skis or boots, or if you would like to try a different pair of skis,you are welcome to exchange them with us.
If you change the category, an additional charge will apply.
